Now I’m getting 12 flashes instead of 2 or 14. I have to be honest: this thing is starting to drive me nuts.

Again, when you press the test button, the activity light on the router is flashing, so the Leaf *is* trying to communicate with the outside world.

I was trying it at the office, which was through a switch — definitely possible that there was a firewall, but I’m unable to gain access to the switch to figure out if it got DHCP. (DHCP is definitely turned on, however, as all the other computers get an address no problem).

Tried at home too, plugged directly into my modem/router combo. Now it’s flashing two times. I *do* have access to the control panel for this router and I can’t confirm whether or not it’s actually getting DHCP from the router as the MAC address of the Leaf isn’t showing up in the DHCP clients list, and none of the IP addresses in the list are responding to pings apart from the known computers.

Yes, this is the new leaf board.

Already went through the Connect Your Leaf guide, which basically tells you to plug it in via Ethernet. That part was dead easy.

And no – we don’t have an FTDI cable…this was a one-off project for a segment we’re doing, and we’re not typically programmers.

I’m guessing we’re pretty much hung at getting this thing online before doing the segment if there are no other troubleshooting tips online, huh?

Nope – it’s definitely 14 flashes…have done the reset and test multiple times, and it’s always 14.

Is there a troubleshooting guide anywhere? Even if it WAS 12, I’d have no clue how to get the flower connected properly.
